You can get to the mechanics of this Machine on the next page with a link to MB&Fs website at the end of this brief philosophical note,” so bear with me while I go on a bit about why I like MB&F.

i have seen hundreds if not thousands of watches/timepieces and only few offer up what MB&F has to offer.

I was wondering what it is about some timepieces and other objects, forms, people and places that take me to another plane. Here is what I came up with. This is very scientific....

The moment I see Audrey Hepburn in one of her earlier movies and sometimes Gwyneth Paltrow or the beautiful Marisa Tomei, there is always this simple and slight moment of admiration. In music there is Bach, Maria Callas and today Andria Bocelli. On the POP side there was Roy Orbison and others who could produce in me a definite reaction, a SENSATION and that sensation is a recognition, that something beautiful is in your presence.

MB&F does that to me. There are not many watches or timepieces able to have that effect. The Ulysse Nardin “Freak” does it to me.

MB&F to me is very similar to all of the above and in terms of music, I can refer to Andrea Bocelli. Bocelli has perfect pitch and delivery and his voice can only be from the gods.

MB&F machines resonate with me on both artistic and mechanical levels. The case designs are beautiful and hint at what fantastic machine is inside. The mechanics inside are conceived of and then formed into living mechanical sculptures. It’s breathtaking and then when you realize you can wear it too........ its enough, enough.

Design form and function, it has everything.

For me, a fine glass of Bordeaux, a small piece of good chocolate, some Bocelli on the stereo, Marisa Tomei by my side and an MB&F on my wrist.........that’s living. A great fantasy too but just the idea of it makes the blood move faster.

Thanks for watching.

Note from Cedrick: I want one of these watches too. I would cover it up under my sleeve and be the only one to know that I have it on.Watchepedia_%28WEPCO-10-Roland_Iten.html
