BRM
Finally a French movement. After 30 years of waiting.
Designed by Bernard Richards and developed by Bernard and Paul Crabbe (Watchmaker.)
I may be a Francophile to a small degree. I like most things French.
The Citroen, The Metro, sun lit cafes, the Art, the poetry,The WINE, the people and most of all the Crock Monsieur and an occasional Crock Madam. I have found the best in Paris at a small cafe near the Louvre, it is named after a chess piece, the Rook or the Knight. I know were it is so the name is not important right now. I guess I’m a Francophile and I have been waiting, actually hoping someone in France would create a watch company and produce a French Movement to claim some of the watchmaking honor that really belongs to the country.
France should take back all that belongs to it.

“Two Great Countries, both with deep horological histories and traditions are now again producing watch movements and taking back the technology they deserve. Urich
Note: At this time, in the USA, RGM has just announced:
“We are honored to announce the introduction of RGM's Caliber 801, the first mechanical watch movement to be produced in a series on American soil sine the late 1960's. Named for the street address of the RGM Watch Company's work shop in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the new movement represents a bold step in American horology.”
